Flying dreams fall under a category of dreams where you become aware that you are dreaming, known as lucid dreaming. Many dreamers have described the ability to fly in their dreams as an exhilarating, joyful, and liberating experience.
If you are flying with ease and enjoying the scene and landscape below, then it suggests that you are on top of a situation. You have risen above something. It may also mean that you have gained a different perspective on things. Flying dreams and the ability to control your flight is representative of your own personal sense of power.
Having difficulties staying in flight indicates a lack of power in controlling your own circumstances. You may be struggling to stay aloft and stay on course. Things like power lines, trees, or mountains may further obstruct your flight. These barriers represent a particular obstacle or person who is standing in your way in your waking life. You need to identify who or what is hindering you from moving forward.
If you are feeling fear when you are flying or that you feel that you are flying too high, then it suggests that you are afraid of challenges and of success.
In reality, we do not have the ability to fly. Thus such dreams may represent that which is beyond our physical limitations. In your mind, you can be anybody and do anything. Another way of interpreting flying dreams is that these dreams symbolize your strong mind and will. You feel undefeatable and nobody can tell you what you cannot do and accomplish. Undoubtedly these dreams leave you a great sense of freedom.
Well I just woke up and jotted down my dream it was really strange and I need some help interpreting it because I think it has real meaning to it.
So I was sleeping and woke up, immediately looked out my window and saw the moon but it was in the shape of a poorly drawn hexagon, like a drawing and the moon was a tiny white dot in the middle of it. If I remember right the hexagon/moon was moving in circles and up down, left right and the moon inside of it was bouncing around within the hexagon. I also thought it was the shape of coal for some reason (the hexagon).
So I then got a call from my boyfriend and I was still looking at the moon/hexagon and while I was on the phone with him it changed into a bluebird swirling around in a circle. It's hard to describe or imagine it was like a white swirling substance (possibly clouds) and the bird was going in circles around the swirls. & also the bird was drawn too, like in a cartoon. It was light blue with white stripes on its wings. Then I told my boyfriend what I was seeing and he said something like," are you sure it's not a regular bird,"? Then the bird changed to a blackbird-it looked exactly the same except black now.
Then I told my boyfriend to look outside and see for himself, over the phone he said to his friend (whoever he was with at his house)," it's so bright,". Meaning the sun. & I then noticed the sun, it was pretty normal I think and it was bright too.
So that's the dream, anyone know what that could mean? The part with the bluebirds made me think about that story with the blackbirds coming out of the pie lol know what I mean?
So my dreams have been extremely vivid lately. There are two in particular that have stuck in my mind. Also, I have dreamed about exact future events before a couple of times. I would love help in interpreting these dreams. I've already looked on dream moods so try to go a little broader then google for me, please.
1) Talking Cat
So I had a dream where I was lying down or crouched down next to a cat in nature(it was a beautiful day, possibly in a park), and the cat came around a tree and started speaking to me. I recall a very spiritual positive feeling when I encountered the cat, and it told me some advice or something profound, if I remember correctly. The next day I saw a cat that looked very similar to the one in my dream in a PetsMart and it took to me quite well.
So I had a dream that my dad was telling me to chase after a very fluffy looking bird that I percieved as being half of a blue jay and half of a red cardinal. (Cardinals have always represented good luck to me so I dunno if that means anything. )He was definitely pointing at the bird and I was chasing it and infatuated with it being such an amazing mix. It was hopping along on the ground but I don't remember if I caught it or not.
I would love any help interpreting these dreams! I believe that the subconscious is a special, divine part of the human mind.
Red cardinal came and flew to me and landed on my hand, let me pet it, the flew away. About 5 min. later, a bluebird then flew to me and did the same thing. What does this dream mean?
Example: What do bluebirds mean in a dream?
I had a dream about some sort o bird it wasn't fully blue but in the dream they were bluebirds there were quite a few of them jumping around me. I have read up some interpretations but they don't make sense i was wondering if anyone knows what this could mean?
Example: What does this dream mean?
Last week I dreamt that a bluebird was in my house and it flew towards me and I hit it with a pillow then accidently stepped on it and killed it. I just googled what bluebirds represent in dreams and I found out that they represent truth or happiness in life. I can't really figure out what my dream means though. . .
I saw this bird on the floor but forgot about it. I went to the bathroom, and I stopped at the door, I could see the bird by the toilet. I stopped nervous of going in there, when the beautiful bluebird hopped over to the shower and climbed in under a curtain. I was hovering deciding I needed the toilet because my period had started heavily, when the bird chirpily hopped out of the bathroom to let me go in.
Example: What does my dream mean?
I have a reoccuring dream that I am unable to walk/in a wheelchair and being held captive or cannot leave where ever I happen to be. What does it mean?
Is there some kind of legend or myth surrounding it, or is the bluebird just a symbol of happiness? I've heard the term a couple of times and was wondering what it meant.
I dreamt i was walking and i realized i had two tattoos ( i don't have any in real life) one was of an eye on the middle of my back and the other was a blue bird on my chest. In the dream i acted like i knew about them and was showing them off... but in reality i didn't know where they came from. The eye was black and rather small, but the blue bird was bright and big. What could this mean?
