Example: What does this dream mean?

I want to know what these really wierd dreams mean that I have been having about death. The other night I dreamed that my oldest nephew died in a car wreck and I watched it happen. I've had many dreams about death, at least every single person in my family has died in a dream that I've had in the past few years.

Just last night I was in a car with someone that had a gun, I said something wrong, like I was lying or something, and they shot me twice. I looked down and the bullets was very close to my heart but I was still alive. It was very vivid, I woke up and felt of my chest to make sure that I didn't really get shot...my chest hurt for a little while after that too. It was really creepy.

Why do I have those kinds of dreams? Could it be that I watch a whole lot of horror movies? The movies don't phase me none when it comes to fear so it couldn't be that right? I love watching those kinds of movies.

A dream is the experience of envisioned images, sounds, or other sensations during sleep. The events of dreams are often impossible or unlikely to occur in physical reality, and are usually outside the control of the dreamer. The exception is lucid dreaming, in which a dreamer realizes that they are dreaming, and they are sometimes capable of changing the oneiric reality around him or her and controlling various aspects of the dream, in which the suspension of disbelief is often broken.[1] Dreamers may experience strong emotions while dreaming. Frightening or upsetting dreams are referred to as nightmares. The discipline of dream research is oneirology.

Example: Crashing airplanes and disbelief. What did my dream mean? (Long)?

I had this dream maybe about a month ago, and I still cant figure out what it meant.

It started off with me in high school. One of my best friends from 8th grade was there, even though she goes to a different school. In fact, in the dream, every floor in the school was a different high school. She stayed on the 3rd floor and that floor was the high school that she actually attends. I went to the 4th, which was the high school I attend now. I couldn't find my locker key, so I went back down to ask her for help to find it, and she had it. I got it open and my locker was full of clothes.

The next thing I remember was an airplane crashing through the 4th and 3rd floor of the school. There wasn't a big explosion or anything, but we knew an airplane had hit. Later, some kids returned to their normal activities and went to class. I refused. I sat by my locker and refused to go to class. Across from my locker in real life, there are more lockers, but in my dream there were classrooms without any doors. There was a room with a door, closed, and it was a principal's office. I was informed by a teacher that I would be meeting with the principal due to my lack of attendance to class.

When I got home, my mom didn't believe me when I said there was a plane that crashed into the school, and that I was too shaken up to go to class. She didn't believe me, and accused me of simply ditching. We were talking this out in the living room, and there was a big window, with no curtains or anything, and we were about 5 stories high. That's when I saw another airplane heading directly toward the window. I started panicking and I tried to get my mom away from the window and out of the living room, but she didn't believe me until the plane actually crashed into the house.

Again, there was no explosion. The house's floors cracked right down the middle of the whole house, though. My sister appeared as though she had been there the whole time. She usually is at college. It was now my mom, sister, and me on one side of the cracked house, but my dad was on the other side sleeping in a bed. My sister and I yelled at him to wake up and get out of the bed because the floor was sinking. He slowly did and rejoined us on the other side of the house.

Then, my mom told me, "I should have believed you."

I woke up.

Is there any meaning to this dream? What did it mean?

Example: Demonic dream meaning?

I've been having these somewhat reoccuring dreams for maybe the past 2 years or so. It hasn't been that long. I love dreams and personally believe they each mean something (again, just my personal belief), but this one kind of freaks me out. In them I start out sleeping in whatever bed I'm actually sleeping in, in real life. At some point, I wake up in my dream (if that makes sense) and there is a very strong demonic presence in the room. I usually end up falling off my bed, but not all the time, and I can feel myself almost lifting off the ground or out of my body, I'm not sure which, as the presence attempts to enter my body. I always end up in my mind, since I can't really talk or move much, screaming something about God to try and drive the presence away, although it rarely works, expect maybe for a moment or two. They're the only dreams I have that feel so unbelievably real it's actually scary, as in I can feel my body rising from the ground or the bed, and I can feel the fear and desperation to try and stop it. I remember a majority of my dreams, and none of them feel this real. I am somewhat religious, but not very. Normally I let this dream go, thinking it's just my imagination and the movies or books I read getting to me, but today I was taking a nap, and I had it again, but this time it was worse. It started out the same as usual, but as it progressed I couldn't figure out when I was awake and when I wasn't. I'm still not sure if I ever actually woke up during parts of it or if I was just sleeping in my dream, although I really feel like I woke up sometimes. I know some of the times I "woke up" were just the dream, because I was dreaming I was really groggy and could barely move or see(how it normally is when I wake up in them). It had my surroundings in it again, like my friend who was in my room (and I've noticed none of them will change a thing about the room I'm in. It's exactly the way my room is when I fall asleep). Anyways, in todays dream, it just really freaked me out because even in my dream, I couldn't figure out if I was awake or asleep, and every time I'd "fall back asleep" I go into a dream or something with the same demonic presence, and I couldn't seem to wake myself up for the life of me, which again, I can normally do. It's really hard to explain without getting jumbled up, so I'm sorry about any confusion at all. I am not worried that a "demon is trying to possess me in my sleep", I more think it means something, and I was just wondering if anyone knew exactly what it meant, or what's more, how to actually stop it. They're honestly getting really annoying, haha.

Thank you!

Example: What could this dream mean?

Last night, I had a dream that my mother and sister were sitting down with a pregnancy test in their hand. I had walked into the room, saw the test, was curious about it & asked if that was my test. My mom said yes. It said I was pregnant. I was in disbelief (sort of excited!) and asked her to check again... still positive.

I know pregnancy dreams do not always indicate pregnancy, so I'm curious to know if anyone has ever had a similar dream?

I'm days away from my period and have been having unprotected sex, without even pulling out... So yes, pregnancy IS a possibility for me.
