Example: Dream symbolism/meaning?
So, I usually don't remember my dreams, but the other night I had this crazy weird dream. One of the things I remember from it is walking down a gravel road and looking to the side where there were some trees and there were two female heads (with faces, hair, everything) growing out of the ground. I remember thinking they were growing out of the ground like mushrooms.
What could this symbolize, if anything? I'm just curious as to what you guys think. c:
Your dream sounds eerily similar to suicide forest in Japan in real life; in this park in Japan, you can find human remains, desmbered body parts, etc. lying throughout the forest from suicide victims (such a chilling place). The fact that you saw two heads with flesh on it in the forests may suggest that you have some guilt in real life for not helping two people with similar problems that you could have solved, and due to the consequences of not helping these two individuals they ended up in a terrible situation. Not neccasarily death. The fact that both were female may indicate that this situation involved feminine matters. The fact that you though they were like Mushrooms, indicates you see these people rebounded from a failure in the past, perhaps inflicted by yourself. If the faces are rotting, then it is a sign that they will plot a terrible revenge against you. If the faces are fresh and clean, they will forgive you for whatever you may have caused.

One day I had this crazy dream. i was on the outskirts of this big city, like new york or somthing, i'm not sure.
it was evening. there were several tornadoes visible over the city. meteors were coming down, also causing destruction. a big earth quake had split the ground mabey five minuets before the tornadoes formed. everything was in flames, despite the heavy winds. there was what seemed to be a giant blue beam or laser coming down...or up...which ever it was, which seemed to be the source of the disasters, because the tornadoes seemed to sort of orbit around the laser, or at least stay somewhat near it anyway. then there was this big explosion, like an ICBM had hit, except it wasn't a mushroom cloud. after that, i don't know why, but for some reason i felt compelled to go into the city, rather than away from it. i was kind of surprised to find that there wasn't very many bodies or any panicers running oarund the place. after a bit of terror, i came to the city center, everyone, surprisingly, was alive, but walking INTO the big fat laser beam! all i saw though was when they entered, most of them were vaporized, but a few went straight up the beam, while one or two went straight down the crack in the ground,(from the earth quake) where the beam seemed to originate. once about half the people walked into the lazer beam, finally, every one started to panic and run around all over the place. although all the disasters had stopped about the same time. the next thing i saw, was monsters jumoing out of the beam., though not monsters from silly movies like monsters inc., they were actually beasts from greek mythology, like a satyr, centuar, minotuar, all that jazz. they started killing peaople and smashing things. not only that, but if anyones ever played oblivion, you'd know what the next things are, things like the clanfear, and grummites anf crap came out. the last thing i say, was another huge *** explosion. then i woke up.
According to the doctor in my dream, I had had little cuts on the undersides of my forearms and dirt and spores entered them. They looked like the white button mushrooms you find in the supermarket and the embedded mushroom was halfway into my flesh. It was as if the mushrooms thought my arms were logs.

Recently I had been experiencing pain in my left leg that hurt so badly, I wasn't able to walk. I went to the doctor, and by the time I'd arrived to the doctor, a red spot had shown up when the pain was occurring, about two inches long, an inch wide. When I went to the doctor, they weren't quite sure what it was, they said it might be a fungus, but prescribed me antibiotics. I've ended the antibiotics and the mark is still there, with less pain than before but it's not going away. Last night I had a dream I was on a cruise ship, and when I went out on the deck, I fell asleep and woke up to purple and green mushrooms sprouting out of my legs, and my legs were rooted into the wood of the deck. What does this mean? Could the "fungus" in my leg mean anything to this dream? Or an answer to what's growing on my leg and won't go away?

In my dream, I was looking in a mirror, I opened my mouth and there were mushrooms growing inside. They were brownish grey, fat dirty mushrooms. I don't remember much more of the events in the dream, but I do remember that it was a negative feel. I was feeling dirty and tired, my mouth felt very dirty. I wanted to get rid of the mushrooms and brush my teeth.
I find this dream odd/intriguing and I think it means something.

Last night I dream that there was a family of mushrooms - the father mushroom, the mother mushroom, the son mushroom and the daughter mushroom. Along with all of the other mushrooms where they were growing, they were plucked, put into packets and taken to market to be sold. The mother, father and son mushrooms were in one packet together, while their daughter was put in a seperate packet. But both packets were put next to each other on the market able, so they could still see their daughter. Along came a man and bought the packet of mushrooms that the daughter was in. He walked away with it and her parents were going frantic. All of the mushrooms knew what was going to happen to them, they knew that they'd be chopped up, scalded and eaten, so they knew they were going to die but the parents wanted to spend their last moments with the family all together, they didn't want their daughter taken away and dying alone.
Somehow, although they were apart, the parents could still communicate with the daughter, and together they planned to assault the man, which they did by squirting hot fat into his face while he was cooking. The mushrooms could talk and he could understand them, so the daughter asked him to return her to her parents and eventually he was so worn down that he agreed.
