Example: What does my dream mean?
for the past month i have been having this dream:
i am in the ocean scuba diving.im like near the ocean floor and its kinda shallow.the ocean is like a sunset color like pinks,oranges,blues.etc. and im over a giant fissure-like creavasse in the ocean floor.i have this feeling like i am looking for something.
its really wierd i k but its reoccouring but like i would be doing different things but im in the same setting and same vibe and doing relative stuff.
i can remember waking up with the feeling that im drowning.what does this mean?if so does anyone know if it is an actual place?!
Many people think that dreams mean something. But that isn't necessarily true. Dreams actually mean nothing. Although it probably is not what you want to hear, but it is the truth! Although it may be disappointing but, modern medicine has proved that dreams are nothing more than a succession of images recalling past memory. I'm sorry if this is not what you want to believe.
I will start off telling you that ALL dreams mean nothing! Dreams just express you or your emotions, they express what you feel and what you do in real life. thats why they feel so real. Dreams cannot create people, places and things thats another reason why they feel so real! dreams recall past memory, -for example if you see a person you don't recognize in dreams, you probably saw him before on TV or walking in the street (you probably didn't pay attention to them). Dreams express your emotions and thoughts in a negative way
According to the well-researched activation-synthesis hypothesis, differences in neuronal activity of the brainstem during waking and REM sleep occur and dreams result from that subconscious brain activation. If neuronal activity affects the dream, it is then concluded that emotions determine the structure and dynamics of a dream.
The dream was about nothing. Dreams mean nothing they just express your emotions and feelings in a symbolic way. Reoccurring dreams happen because you are having the same emotions thus they get re-expressed in a similar dream. Lucid dreams occur depending on the extent of your consciousness during the phase of waking and REM sleep.
Dreams are simple synapses in your brain firing off all sorts of things. Your brain gathers all this random information, sights, sounds and so forth. And as you are sleeping, these sights and essentially memories are jumbled up into one big mess, just random nonsense, and your brain works and works for an hour or so trying to create a nice little story with all of these sights and sounds because it wants to make sense of it. It wants to make sense out of nonsense! So, then you end up with this dream. This happens several times in one night but when you wake up, you forget all of them, and when you do remember one of them, when you do remember at least one dream, we try to make sense of it. We tell ourselves, what is this? What could it mean. When in reality, it means nothing, it is just complete nonsense.
Dreams are a succession of images, ideas, emotions and sensations occurring involuntarily in the mind during certain stages of sleep.

A few weeks ago I started having dreams almost every night again (I haven't really had many dreams for the last few years). They are all bad. Not nightmares, they don't scare me, but the things in those dreams are not very nice. And then the octopuses came. The first time, I was scuba diving with my mom and there was a giant squid which we were trying to avoid. Then it ran away and a huge octopus that was red with white spots was coming. My mom couldn't see it, but I knew it was releasing poisonous toxins and we had to swim away. It attacked a giant pirate ship (that's what it looked like) as we were swimming away, and I think that's the boat we were scuba diving from. Then we were on a beach and I woke up.
Two nights later, I dreamt that my mom was in the bathtub, and there were baby octopuses all over her. She couldn't see them, but they were trying to eat her. The next night I dreamed there were a bunch of people I know, they were all naked and in sleeping bags. They wanted me to take off my clothes, but I didn't. I couldn't get away...
I also have memories of a dream in which a giant octopus was stuck to the side of our house but I'm not sure if it is real or not,
And this is probably a week later (though there have been octopuses in my dreams but they were not the main focus) I was taking moisturizer and rubbing it into my face, except it was black and I knew it was octopus ink, and it kept absorbing and I was putting on more and more and then I woke up.
What do those dreams mean? why do I keep having so many? Nothing terribly interesting has been going on in my life except studying for exams...
We were flying and kept feeling like we were going to crash into the water but kept barely above it. next thing ,We scuba dived to land and I thought back how cool it was then I realized there were sharks in the ocean and I was frightened to scuba back. I went on the helicopter to do a jump. We were flying over a port which was my spot to jump. I threw my back pack out of the helicopter because I was going to use it as my marker for where to land. The shoot was getting caught in my plate carrier before I jumped and we kept flying, the helicopter wouldn’t stop. I took the bullet proof vest off and jumped and realized how far I was from my landing target. I thought about just landing where I could. I was coming down really fast and I was trying to slow it down as much as I could by tugging on the shoot strings to try and force it against the wind. I decided to go for my target anyway and I landed on a beach next to a family and I look beside me and see my back pack. I was so excitited and proud of myself that I looked at the lady and said “lady I know I don’t know you but you have to listen to this” as I begun to tell her all excitingly ssgt came over rushing me saying we had to go. Where the same chopper we jumped out of was where we went to pick up are vestsbefore we went to the airport but mine was the only one that wasn’t there. I told ssgt and he said he’d look for it. a little bit after take off you could here the fuel line just stop functioning. Right away I knew we were going down. First thing I did was pray with a lot of confidence that we were going to have a rough BUT safe landing, which we did.
I dream very often and very descriptively i almost always rememeber everyhting when i wake up
First one, i cant remember much of other than i was scuba diving and i had to sort all the fish i saw into groups of all the same species. They were obidiant fish, wherever i put them they would stay there. :L
second one, i cant remember bits but a lot more than the first one. I looked out my window and there were stables in my garden. I ran out and there was a big brown horse and a miniature shetland pony in them. the pony was really scared of everyone apart from me cause she had been abused by everyone. So anyway i took her on a walk down the village and on the way back i met my dogs(from realy life) on the beach and they started attacking my pony and i was sceaming at them to stop but they were trying to bite bits off her. I got them off the pony but this hige dog jumped on them trying to kill them then they ran up onto the road an nearly got run over and i was screaming at them to come back. They ran off into a narrow track with bushes and trees growing up the sides so i ran after them with my pony. I came to an open field and this guy about 20-25 years old just started running at me trying to kill me. I ran away but then i realised i had to sneak back for my pony. Then all i remember is turning up back at the house with my pony but the house had glass walls and a big garden.
Example: What does this dream mean!?
My birthday is in 3 days. When I woke up this morning,my legs, back, arms, head, and stomach were hurting really bad (and they still do). I had a weird dream last night: It was my birthday and my parents got me a leopard gecko. I named it Shawn (I have a friend named Shawn in real life. We used to like eachother but we've been fighting a lot lately so I dont talk to him anymore). Shawn started talking 2 me and I said "You talk!? You're a gecko for Pete's sake!" I went scuba diving with him somewhere close to the Bahamas. Shawn said, "Are you surprised that I can swim?" I replyed, "Yeah! You're amazing!" A few days later, I was getting robbed and Shawn transformed into a monster to scare the robbers away, but before they left, they shot him. He transformed back into a gecko and I screamed, "SHAWN! NO! DONT LEAVE ME!" But it was too late. He was already dead. I kissed his dead body and put him in a small box. :(
So what do you guys think that dream meant?! Im kinda worried...
in the dream me and a bunch of friends were having a sleepover one of them kept asking the others one at a time to go do something of her me and my other friend realized she was killing us of one by one, but we couldnt say anything because she would kill us, then we survived and i wanted to learn how to scuba dive so i went to the sea and i was in the water and i saw a shark and i was about to swim away but then i realized i couldnt be bothered and i said you know what i just really want some nachos then all of a sudden me and the shark were eating nachos and i said wait how come we are under the sea but these arent soggy and then i woke up :P
what do you think?
A long time ago I started to have reoccurring dreams that I was in a 100 foot deep swimming pool and just clinging to the edge. Then sometimes I would dream I was swimming but the size and deepness of the pool was kind of freaky. I still keep having dreams about swimming pools, usually they are huge. Since I tried scuba diving in real life, although I didn't like it, I feel more comfortable swimming in the deep water but it's still a bit freaky. I have no fear of normal sized swimming pools in real life! What do you think these dreams mean?
Example: What is PADI means in Scuba Diving?
I have seen the term PADI related to scuba diving.
I have seen a course which i am thinking about doing:
Open Water + Advanced + EFR + Rescue + Divemaster course and internship
£1,150 excl DM manuals
Any words of wisdom of experiance. I ideally would like to teach scuba diving on a tropical island somewhere hot.. am i just dreaming?
