Some years ago I dreamt of a desert area in which I was running.It was afternoon and the sun was overhead, hot and burning. I saw some people pouring some soil-like liquid on an old man tied to a pole. I ran away scared , into a den. There I saw Lord Shiva, angry , with his trident pointing towards me. We circled each other . It seemed as if we were enemies . Then he suddenly chased me and I started running in panic and I woke up.
Recently I saw a dream in which I was in a den.The view outside revealed a pleasant , cool atmosphere.It was morning.In the den I had before me Lord Shiva.I was touching his feet and he was blessing me.
These dreams were vivid and are real, not a made-up story.What do you think they imply?

Can dreams that seem to impart special knowledge come from a source other than God?
Jer. 29:8, 9: “This is what Jehovah of armies . . . has said: ‘Let not your prophets who are in among you and your practicers of divination deceive you, and do not you listen to their dreams that they are dreaming. For “it is in falsehood that they are prophesying to you in my name. I have not sent them,” is the utterance of Jehovah.’”
Harper’s Bible Dictionary informs us: “Babylonians had such trust in dreams that on the eve of important decisions they slept in temples, hoping for counsel. Greeks desiring health instruction slept in shrines of Aesculapius [whose emblem was a serpent], and Romans in temples of Serapis [at times associated with a coiled serpent]. In the past, God used dreams to give warnings, instruction, and prophecy, but is he leading his people in that way now?

Ok, well the dream starts out where I on Y!A and there is a question about a lesbian basketball game that is going to at my school. So, I walk down the little hill that our school is on, and sure enough the girls from my school that I suspect of being a lesbian are playing a basketball game, there are a couple of guys too.
Well, it looks like it has just rained because for some reason the grass is wet and I am suddenly carrying two wet wooden planks. The game actually turns from basketball to soccer (which I didn't notice in my dream), and the soccer ball hit me and I dropped my planks. I couldn't get up the hill with the planks ffor some reason, every time I would go a few feww up the hill I would slide back down.
But once I dropped the planks I was able to go up...
*this is the scary part*
When I finally got up the hill, I thepped onto the sidewalk, and right beside me, there was a gothic man (he looked like marylin manson). I think he had (with chalk) drawn a big black circle (maybe 7 feet in diameter), and inside of the circle was pure red. Well, in the middle of that big circle, was a smaller circle, right in the middle, probably about 2 feet in diameter. The gothic guy was standing outside of the circle holding a big cast iron trident.
For some reason I don't know, I took the pitchfork, and I stood inside the circle. I think I might have done a dance, but I remember standing in the big circle with the trident and staring down at the circle that been two feet, which was now probably a 6 inch circle. When I saw that, I just suddenly knew that I was supposed to stab the bottom of the trident into that little circle... and when I did...
I became taller, probably 7 feet tall. My eyesight changed, and everything aroung me became a shade of orangey-red, or black. I now had stringy, greasy hair hanging in front of my eyes. But what scared me the most, is this. I said something, but it wasn't me saying it, and it was, "I AM SATAN, I AM CIRCLE!" and after I said that, I collapsed to the ground. I was on my back in this circke, I probably looked like the Vitruvian Man, and I started convulsing. I just felt my body shaking violently, like maybe I was being exorcised.
I woke up after that.
Now, I am afraid to move, or do anything. Is this conformation that I am going to hell? I seriously think that this has something to do with Eleanor Louise, yesterday she made me feel like I really am going to hell.
But when I was being possessed, it felt so real, that I can still feel it...
What does this mean? I go to church every sunday, and I pray every night. I've never had a though like this during my consciousness, EVER, so why would it come to me when I'm sleeping?
Its 4:30 in the morning and I'm afraid to go back to sleep even though I have school tomorrow..
Example: I had two odd dreams about polar bears in the past few days. What do they mean?
Last night I had a dream about going to a polar bear exibit with my grandma. We went up a river of ice to the exibit, which had wooden pawprints on the bank. We got out along with my 3 dogs. the polar bears were in a glowing den at the top of the river.A small bear with blue fur and pink markings came out and sat in front of us. My dog tried to play with it. We were petting it and I said That I had never touched a polar bear. Sudenly, we were back in the cabin and two of the polar bears were with us. I saw them transform into humans.one of them was a boy,14, another was a man. They were not exactly human, but close to it. I tried to make first contact with the boy by giving him a piece of Trident gum a nd showing him what to do with it. Later I learned that hee could talk. The polar bears, my mom and I went to a bed to dicuss diraections. My mom thougth that the man had given her direcetions, but the boy had. She scolded him and went away with the man, leaving me and the boy alone. We talkled for awhile, and then I woke up. A few days ago, I had a dream about going for a walk on the moon and found a faimily of polar bears undergroud. They were near a hot spring. I managed to wake one of the babies and I gave it a piece of paper. It wrote some smmybols. The linguists on my expoisition tried to decode it He alomost had it when I woke up. I would like an answer.

I recently started reading the bible for the first time (genesis). Last night I had a vivid dream that I was in the public restroom of a hospital. In the window I saw a reflection of Jesus and he was talking (not sure what he was talking about). Then his eyes slanted and turned black. But what really stood out was when he put two small tridents together which sent a powerful bolt of energy through him. He seemed obsessed with power and relished the power generated by the small tridents. When I woke up, I realized that maybe the dream was Satan disguising himself as Jesus? I'm not very religious but feel this dream really meant something. Any thoughts or interpretations would be appreciated. Thank you!
Example: Dream about the Virgin Mary?
Okay, first and foremost I have to say I've really never been a big believer of God or the bible...so this dream struck very odd to me.
I was in this one town that looked very old that had aqueducts running through the ground. I only remember part of the dream now, so I'm starting at the middle kind of. There was this chubby man trying to get me and my friend Mary (she was dressed in robes and had long brown hair) and the man was holding one of those old, three-pronged gold daggers, and at one point he stabs Mary and cuts me on my arm. I don't remember how but we lose him by going to this little shack/house and I laid Mary down on a bed and tried to heal her (I guess I could heal people?) but after I did, she turned into a Virgin Mary statue and I freaked out. So I ran back outside where the townspeople were and found the man and I started yelling, "He killed Mary!" At one point my voice would fail me, it sounded like how someones voice sounds when they lose their voice. But they got the gist of what I was saying and he started running so I started running after him and he started to go into this one aqueduct tunnel and I knew I would never catch up to him so I jumped into the aqueduct (it was shallow but deep enough that i could float down it) and when he noticed I did that, he stuck the dagger right in front of me so I couldn't dodge it. But I grabbed the dagger and tried to get it out of his hand. I kneed him in the gut a few times and that worked so I took the dagger, stabbed him (not in a vital area), and kicked him into the aqueduct.
Well...I think I focused more on the fight than on Mary. Heh, sorry. But anyway, I find it extremely odd that I would dream about the Virgin Mary so does anyone have any idea what this dream means?
Example: Dream interpretation, is there any meaning behind dreams about arenas and fights to the death?
I keep a dream journal and I like to try and do this myself for the fun of it being a psychology major. I still got some ways to go so see if you can help me out with these. I have dreams about me being in some sort of arena or competition that involves me fighting to the death or near death with other people. I think it happens to often to be random but their all different, not reoccurring.
-My latest one was rather dark, I was in a fake, very small house that was barely lit and we were being watched over by 3 judges. I could never really fully see the people, the judges and my competitors just looked like shadow people with how dark it was. I try hiding but one finds me, he has a fire-poker with a strange trident end on it and foil wrapped around the other end as a weapon, i'm unarmed at first and I can't remember how but i win by going back and forth dodging, bashing and blocking with some children plastic wagon I hastily picked up to have something to take the hits. and then finish him by somehow grinding the palms of his hands down almost to the bone (pretty big blur how that happened), the judges pull him out for not being able to continue. Somehow I know in this world those wounds are no problem and he will be fine in no time though. The last guy I see emerge from the shadows and see that he has an iron rod in his hands, also with foil wrapped around one end, one that is thin and light enough that it can be easily whipped through the air. This guy is someone I know but because of how dark it was I can't remember who it was because I couldn't see his face, in the dream I knew though and knew that he moves far more aggressively than the person that I know. we go back and forth with me using the fire poker to catch the rod and deflect him, we keep getting caught in gridlock and he tries to use the extra length to gouge my eye out a couple times while in these gridlocks, the last time he gets really close, I feel like I can feel the pressure of it but I break free. the dream ends without a conclusion.
I think most of them end without a conclusion and it's also important to note that this is not a nightmare. In all the dreams i'm typically winning at a decent advantage and am not afraid, in this one I was a little afraid because I started out at a disadvantage without a good weapon and being in a bad area of the house, one that was barely more lit than the rest, but only just enough were I could potentially be spotted more easily.

Ok here it is: I rise up out of the ocean, my hairy chest glistening in the sunlight, my Beard dripping saltwater, A bronze shield in my left hand and a glowing trident in my right. I charge onto the beach towards a pack of Velociraptors. On the biggest Velociraptor's back was another Bearded man holding a wooden staff. Me and the Raptors fought for a few minutes until I defeated them all. I shook the Bearded man's hand at the end of the battle and he told me, "You have great powers Horatio, but you cannot defeat my father!" and then he walked away and I went back to the ocean.
Am I a Demigod? Is this proof of Gods? What is the FSM trying to tell me?

Okay I had the creepiest freaking dream!...my dream was about beautiful sirens singing ... not to me but just singing..their was a male merman in the water who kept calling for me to jump in so I idioticlly did despite thinking even in my dream sirens kill people... but he caught me in his arms..and well when he did everything started to shake like a hurricane and all the sirens went underwater am swam down out of sight... the merman I was with took me underwater..btw apparently I could breath underwater... and as he did A serpent swam from below past us..the merman hid me in a underwater cave where we watched this ugly half man half serpent thing yelling my name .. he was the size of a leviathan and his voice was so scary ...the entire dream was so vivid and I remember so many details that it kinda feels like it was a chapter of my real life, Thisserpent man thing has very very very long red hair and a jagged face and a musclur body and he carried a trident.. what in the world could this mean if anything?

i had a dream that i was inside my house with my little brother who was on his cell phone. I saw dark clouds coming from behind the house and went out on the porch to look at them. It was they where rolling over the landscape just bringing lightening, no rain, no thunder. But they where extreamly black. Then i saw this white cloud, it was the shape of a man with a trident and looked alot like someone would think neptune or possidon would look with the crown and everything. And i told him that i wanted a severe thunderstorm and the cloud-face gave me a weird look as if to say i'll just get scared and not to wish for that. But i told him i was sure and that i did want it. By this time it was like i w as standing right infront of the storm itself and the cloud-face picked up my white pick-up truck and agreed (without saying it) that he'd give me a severe thunderstorm. So i went bck in and told my little brother to get off the phone cuz there was a storm commin. And he told me he would be fine. So then the wind picked up and started to ran bad, and i see my pick-up start for the kitchen window. And i say to put the truck down, but on the house, but beside it. And the truck lands on its side just a few inches from the corner of the house. Then i go outside and tell the storm cloud that i wanted a thumderstorm, not a tornato. Theni walk back in and my brothers off the phone and i wake up.
Does anyone know that could mean? I know that the storm means something bad is coming, it always does for me when i see a storm, or a tornado in my dreams something bad always happens. But i cant wrap my head around the face in the clouds and i've looked and cant find anything on that. Does anyone eles know what it could be?
