Last night I had a dream that I looked into my bank account online and saw that there was an additional $2,500 added from an organization called Angels Atonement Foundation (completely made up foundation I'm sure). this is so odd that the amount added and the foundation were so specific. Does anyone have any guesses about why I would dream this?
Your Zia Lucia suggests that you regard the number and foundation's name as clues to a puzzle.
I suspect the "bank" represents your mind and memory, the place where your treasures are stored. Instead of thinking of money, focus on the number itself, looking at it in different ways that might represent different memories. The figure $2,500 could be written and pronounced in several different ways: twenty-five hundred, two and a half thousand, or two thousand, five hundred. Perhaps 5 x 500.
2500 might be a street address, or a mailbox number or the distance between two places. Or perhaps it IS monetary, as in $25.00. The number might have a special meaning to your family; perhaps the 100th anniversary of something that occurred on the 25th of the month? Odd as it seems, and certainly inconvenient, the subconscious mind seems to delight in placing these games in our dreams, just to force us to figure out the meaning.
You also must determine what the Angels Atonement Foundation represents to YOU, specifically. It sounds spiritual, but also specifically Christian, as "atonement" refers to salvation through faith in Christ. Angels could refer to angelic beings or to any sort of helpers. "Foundation" brings to mind various scriptures about Christ being a "sure foundation." The name also suggests the concept of grace - undeserved favor - which describes rather well the addition of unearned and unexpected money into one's bank account.
With all apologies for not providing a specific interpretation, the fact is that Zia Lucia's interpretation would do you no good at all. Your dream is about you, and the number and foundation's name are specific to you. In that sense, this dream has drawn up a treasure for you out of your own account.
it was after two
before james fell off into deep sleep
and soon thereafter that he entered his DREAM
a piece of his clothes was caught in the machine
and the machine was drawing him in
in a moment of thirty thousand tons
of crushing force james arm was gone
the violence sent him into a stunning blackness
but it was not death
it was again the small room with one window
and the faint glow of neon
through the faded linen curtains
wrenched like a dry cork
from a bottle of cheap wine
james shot up in bed drenched in sweat
and, drained, fell over on his side
it was the same DREAM
over and over again.
i know what this is, he said
i know what this is
and i can handle it.
it’s nothing that wouldn’t be natural
for any animal
taken from the wild
and put in a cage
this is what they’ve done to me
i was a good man once
and now i have DREAMS
like a child

Example: What does my dream mean?
Hi! Last night I had a dream, and I can't shake it. First off my Daddy died in april. Currently my brother and I are going through a lawsuit with my step mother over his will. Long story...About the dream. I was at my neighbors house when I saw my Daddy, I ran up to him and held onto his arm, and didn't let go. I can remember the hair on his arm against my face (weird I know...But kinda sad) We walked up the stairs into the Garage where there was a party going on. I still held on to my daddy, crying and was saying I'm not letting go. We sit down in some chairs against the wall I look out side the garage door and see my step mother, I look at her and i feel so much anger, I look up at my daddy and said "I hate her", he replied, "I hate her too." We smiled and I woke up. I still have an over welling feeling of sadness as I did in the dream. I've been trying to fight the tears, but I just put my daughter down for her nap and now I can't stop the tears from streaming down my face. What does this dream mean? Is it affecting me so much because I am supposed to take something away from it? ?
What does this mean?
Example: Why do I keep having these dreams?
Okay, there's this girl in my class. I only see her like twice a week because it's a gifted class. Anyway, I've "known" her for like 7 years but we didn't get along too well when we were younger. Well, we got over that a year or so ago, we're not friends but we don't hate each other. Thing is I can't stop dreaming about her.
Like, I keep having these dreams and in the dreams there's like major sexual tension and in at least half of them we're in a relationship. I don't understand why the hell I keep having these dreams. I mean, yea she's cute but I don't even really know her, all we do is say a few words here an there so it's not like I "like" her. So, why do these dreams keep happening?
OK, so I'm in an English lesson, and my English teacher says we're going on a trip to Birmingham. So she gives the letter to me, then all of a sudden I'm on the train. Except the train, it's really weird, instead of being a proper train, it's just rollercoaster cars, and it's freezing too. So I turn to my friend next to me and talk about how budget this train is, and the driver hears me. He doesn't look too happy. Next thing I know ,these goons are grabbing me, then they put me in this room with my mum (?) and the room starts falling! So we're falling and screaming and screaming and falling, then we land with a thunk. I am soaked through! I get out of the room, in my school PE kit, and I start walking my horse (?) home through this farm type place. My English teacher comes out of no where wearing a blue top and she says 'what are you doing' and I said 'nothing' and she said 'wanna do me a favour' and I say 'ok'. She leads me to a barn house, and inside, there are some girls from my year and they are making a figure of a cat on the floor. Except they're already done when I get there.

Example: What does this passage mean?
"I learned this, at least, by my experiment; that if one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life which he has imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours. He will put some things behind, will pass an invisible boundary; new, universal, and more liberal laws will begin to establish themselves around and within him; or the old laws be expanded, and interpreted in his favor in a more liberal sense, and he will live with the licence of a higher order of beings. In proportion as he simplifies his life, the laws of the universe will appear less complex, and solitude will not be solitude, nor poverty poverty, nor weakness weakness. If you have built castles in the air, your work need not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them." (Walden, "Conclusion")
In the dream, Tom was in a small forest searching for his friend Frank. He kept calling out Frank's name loudly. Finally, he saw Frank kneeling on the ground in front of a large white bathtub. It was an old-fashioned tub with feet. Frank kept scrubbing hard, trying to get it clean and white. Tom was scared, he said, "Frank, look! He's coming for us. We must run." Tom pointed to the knight in armour riding down the hill toward them on a large horse; he was holding a long sharp spear, his head and face completely covered by a metal helmet and shield. Frank kept scrubbing the tub. Tom screamed, "Look, he's getting closer, we must run." Frank said, "I have to finish here. You go up the hill. l will go down. Go." Tom turned and ran up the hill.
He woke up frightened, in a cold sweat and he couldn't sleep. About an hour later the phone rang. It was Frank's wife telling us Frank had died suddenly early that morning. Was Frank trying to communicate with Tom? Your interpretation, please.
I need some help fully understanding the true meaning of the story i just read.
