Lungs

To see lungs in your dream symbolize insight, creativity, and inspiration. Alternatively, lungs may indicate a stressful situation and refer to a relationship/situation in which you feel suffocated. You need to take a deep breath and face up to the challenge.

To dream of lungs represents the freedom to think, make choices, or express yourself. It may also symbolize an ability to take your time. Any problems with your lungs may reflect feelings of being suffocated emotionally, being unable to express yourself, or having to rush.

To dream of lung cancer represents a situation that is slowly restricting freedom, choice, or your ability to express yourself. You may also feel that a situation is slowly restricting your ability to relax.

Example: A woman dreamed of having lung cancer. In real life the woman's daughter was close to getting married and she strongly believed her daughter was too young.

In a dream, lungs represent the abode of the soul. Damaged or decaying lungs in a dream represent the nearing of one’s death. If one sees his lungs turned black in a dream, it means cessation of his business or source of his livelihood. Healthy lungs in a dream represent longevity. Lungs in a dream also represent one’s wife, anger, or one’s composure.


Stabbed

To dream of being stabbed represents feelings of being wounded by someone else's actions or remarks. Noticing someone else wanting to see you in pain or to know that you're losing. A struggle with power. You may be experiencing feelings of inadequacy. Feeling betrayed or sudden shock.

To dream of stabbing someone else represents defensiveness or taking out your anger on someone. A wish to restore your independence in a relationship or situation. Wanting to feel others pain or to know that you are hurting them in some way. Taking someone important or special away from someone.

Consider the area of the body being stabbed for additional meaning.

To dream of being stabbed in the neck represents conflict with commitments that have been made. Feeling that someone or something is challenging your ability to stay committed. Feeling attacked for your commitments. Feeling that someone doesn't want you to like something ever again or wants to you give up in some way. If you are trying to stab someone else in the neck it may be a sign that you are very jealous or angry that someone will not stop being committed to something. Feeling an attack on your will power or beliefs that something isn't a mistake.

To dream of being stabbed in the leg may reflect conflict with independent choices. Feeling attacked for wanting to do something on your own. If you stab someone else in the leg it may reflect your wish to stop a person or situation from becoming independent.

To dream of being stabbed in the hand represents feelings about conflict with capability. Feeling attacked for your abilities or skills. Feeling that someone or something is trying to turn you into a loser who can't perform well on your own. To dream that you are trying to stab someone else in their hands may reflect your attempt to attack a person or problem that is performing at a competent level that is uncomfortable for you. In waking life she was very angry at God for the death of her sister and went into her bedroom while alone in her home and cursed God for killing her sister. The stabbing may have reflected her feelings about hurting God's feelings with her words.

If a bird or an animal comes out of one’s nose in a dream, it means that a cattle, a pet, or a domesticated animal will give birth to its babies in such a house. A large nose in a dream represents honor and respect. Smelling a nice fragrance in a dream means begetting a son, or it could mean relief from difficulties. If one sees his abdomen being cut open and washed, then stitched back to normal in the dream, it means blessings from God Almighty, forgiveness for one’s sins, and it could mean that one will receive spiritual guidance. One’s abdomen in a dream also denotes his good conduct, amiable character, blessed enterprises and protection from the evil of the accursed Satan. If one sees a newborn son or daughter coming out of his abdomen in a dream, it means that such a child will be born and will grow to govern that household. If one sees himself carrying a heavy load in a dream, it means that he is carrying his sins. If he carries merchandise in the dream, it means debt. If he carries woods in the dream, it means backbiting others. If one sees himself carrying a dead person on his back in a dream, it means that he takes care of orphans. As for one’s heart (See Heart) in a dream, it means intelligence, vigilance, aware- ness, guidance, clarity and piety. One’s buttocks and the rear end in a dream represent his earnings, job and profits. If one sees himself licking someone’s rear end or buttocks in the dream, it means giving high praises to an unworthy and an impious person or commending him. The male and female sexual organs in a dream represent a good father or one’s profession. What comes or goes into the male organ or woman’s vagina in a dream of good or bad will reflect in their lives. Seeing one’s penis in a dream means children, money, pride, state, or authority. The testicles represent one’s livelihood, one’s daughters, protection and maintenance. The meaning of the penis and the testicles may be transposed in the dream interpretation. If they turn into glass in the dream, they denote his short life. The human bones represent his livelihood, religion, glory or money. Collecting bones in a dream means saving money. The bone marrow in a dream repre- sents hidden money, good awareness, patience and gratitude. The veins and nerves in a dream represent one’s clan, modesty and progeny. As for seeing the human skin in a dream, it means ornaments, presiding over others, a veil, blessings, livelihood, provisions, life and a garment.


Knife

To dream that you are carrying a knife signifies anger, aggression and/or separation. There may be something in your life that you need to cut out and get rid of. Perhaps you need to cut ties or sever some relationship. Be more divisive. Alternatively, a knife refers to some sexual tension or sexual confrontation.

If the knife is dull, then it denotes that your hard work will result in little or no gain.

To dream that you are wounded by a knife is symbolic of masculine or animalistic aggression.

To see someone holding a knife in your dream suggests that you lack control or power in a situation or relationship. Alternatively, the person holding a knife in your dream may be symbolic of a dominant male figure in your waking life.

To see an electric knife in your dream indicates your power to get down to the truth of a situation quickly.

To dream of knives symbolizes emotional conflict, division, and separation. There are issues with loss or change that you are struggling with in your waking life. An emotional hurt or threat.

Alternatively, you may feel threatened by a possible loss or change.

To dream of being in a knife fight represents a struggle or competing views about loss or change. A fight over who has to make a sacrifice or take a loss first.

To dream of being stabbed with a knife represents pain, consequences, or embarrassment you are experiencing for resisting something in your life that you disagree with. It may also represent someone in your life that you feel is trying to get back at you. Experiencing a significant enemy or opposition in your life. Experiencing the consequences of people who are jealous of you or who don't want you doing something.

To dream of a bloody knife may reflect feelings of guilt or regret for hurting someone else. A fear of having to pay for what you did to someone else. Alternatively, it may reflect your feelings about dangerous conflict in your life. Fearlessly overcoming a big problem or dangerous situation.

Women often dream of being chased by a man with a knife. In waking life these dreams may be a sign that they fear being dumped or being single again. A struggle to keep the partner happy. Alternatively, it may reflect the woman's attempt to avoid aggressive sexual advances. Men usually dream of knives to reflect a conflict of opposing ideas or agendas.

To dream of a pocket knife represents confidence that you can get rid of a problem should it arise. Preparedness.

To dream of a pen knife represents hidden intentions to defend a permanent choice you've made. Positively, it may reflect preparation to stand your ground. Negatively, it may reflect a problem discussing your true feelings to others.

Example: A young girl dreamed of seeing herself stabbing herself with a knife. In waking life she was keeping a relationship with a boyfriend that her friends didn't like. Stabbing herself with a knife reflected the emotional conflict she felt with her friends being caused by choosing to keep her boyfriend and refusing to breakup with him. She felt she was hurting herself socially by keeping the boyfriend.

Example 2: A woman dreamed of seeing a knife hovering above a baby's head. The baby said "Don't do it." In waking life she was considering getting an abortion. The hovering knife most likely reflected the potential decision to get an abortion that was on her mind.

Example 3: A woman dreamed of seeing intruders in her home wielding sharp knives. In waking life she was pregnant and fearing the need to get a c-section.

In a dream, a knife represents the servant of the house or its sire who strives to serve and benefit his family and friends. Its sharpness represents the effectiveness of his commands, the force by which they are carried, or one’s magnanimity and distinct personality. Broken knives, denotes defeat whatever the pursuit, whether in love or business.
