Dreaming of injecting John Malkovich with pain killers?

I had a dream the other night that I just can't shake.

I was in a hospital and I was trying to do something or figure something out - I really don't know what though. I'm in a patient's room and there's this man (Who bares a remarkable resemblance to John Malkovich*) and he's delirious. Babbling nonsense - but he is happy. I suddenly get very angry and run over to him with a syringe. People try to stop me - or are atleast protesting very loudly. I get the impression that the syringe is full of pain killers. I stick him with it in the leg - but the medicine is squirting out (like there is a hole in the needle) So I have to keep stabbing in different places and shoving the needle in deeper. I finally finish my task and back away. John comes down from his delirium and becomes very angry with me. Asking why I had to bring him back to reality - that he was so happy and that now he is in pain. I retort with something like you were annoying me babbling on about rainbows and butterflies besides "I need your SHARP mind".
I remember being very emotional and yelling the last part.

Of course my alarm had to go off right then. I haven't really remembered many of my dreams the past year or so. The fact that this one has stuck with me and i remember it so vividly... I dunno it feels like it is very important and I would like some insight.

* I am not a John Malkovich fan. I mean he's been in a handful of movies I've liked - though not playing major parts. I haven't watched any of his movies or thought about them in the past several months. However I AM interested in why he's suddenly popping up in my dream world *sigh* Why couldn't it have been George Clooney? lol

Symbols:

Hospital
Trying to do/figure something.
Patient's room
John Malcovich
Happy babbling nonsense
Anger
Syringe of Pain Killers
Defective syringe
John angry with you - because you made him "see the light"
You need his SHARP mind

That's what I took from your dream. Now YOU have to define those symbols. What do they mean to YOU? Everyone is different. To me they mean different things. Here's MY interpretation:

Hospital

- An institution of some kind. In a hospital sick people go in and come out ok. Maybe it's a symbol for something that induces change.

Trying to do/figure something.

- A mission that you need to accomplish. Maybe a lifelong mission or an important task that you need to take care of in your waking life.

Patient's room

- Someone's home, or psyche. Their mind, or inner world.

John Malcovich

- What does John Malcovich mean to you? When you first saw him what did he remind you of? To me, I think of someone who's eccentric yet intelligent. Crazy, yet methodical.

Happy babbling nonsense

- A state of euphoria? Sedated state of mind?

Anger

- Not sure about this emotion. Maybe something that NEEDS to be dealt with. An injustice of some kind.

Syringe of Pain Killers

- The "antidote". Or the "solution" to some kind of problem.

Defective syringe

- You're not using it properly?

John angry with you - because you made him "see the light".

- ?

You need his SHARP mind.

- You need someone that can help you in some way. Someone smarter than you, or just another pair of eyes.

BUT REMEMBER this is only MY interpretation. Try keeping a dream journal (a notebook that you can write your dreams in, when you wake up). That's what I've been doing for the past week. My dreams are having some kind of profound, prophetic meaning to them since 11 months ago. 60% of which has come true.

All I can think of is that John Malkovich is often typecast as a very intelligent villain (In the line of fire, Con Air etc.) He is also a clever person in real life (Theres the explanation for you wanting his sharp mind) It would be interesting and possible vital to know what you were in hospital for though. Anyways, hospitals are places where people go to get better, right? So its possible that you are lacking mental stimulation in your life, or that you underestimate your intelligence. It's possible that you think clevery people have an easy ride in life, (Babbling on about rainbows and butterfles) and often do not go through your pain (He is in a blissfull trance though)

Thats the best idea i can come up with. By the way, its quite rare that people have dreams about people they dont know in person apart from the superfamous and historical figures.

dreams are hard to make out.i'm sure you've heard the speculations of what dreams could mean.you could speculate anything and they'd still be speculations.best not to worry about it unless your waiting for entertaining answers on yahoo.
